Guide to Comment Posting
Comment posting has been around for as long as I can remember, the first blog that was ever created didn’t have the comment feature as standard. The comment field came a lot later and since its arrival it has given people the opportunity to express there opinions and more importantly help the website owner (like you and me) promote there site.
Comment posting is free and easy to do, it can also produce some really good quality links that supplies Pagerank juice and traffic. When I comment post I search Google for key terms related to my site and always go for the results that and displayed high up in googles result page. The reason why I go for the highest blogs in Google for my search terms, is they tend to receive a good amount of traffic and that page/post is very relevant to my site.
Most blog authors allow you to promote your key term in the “authors” field of the comment, this helps you promote your key terms and helps you rank higher in google for that term. When you leave a comment its best to not add a link to the comment body itself, as a lot of authors class this as spam and if the link doesn’t point to any relevant content your comment will not be approved. A good comment written well will get approved, if you use automated software for your comment posting then Its best to write a general comment like “thank you for sharing this information I found your article very interesting and after browsing the rest of your site I have now bookmarked your blog”, a lot of blog authors will approve that.
I use comment posting to promote my sites but you cant just rely on it as your sole method of link building, as too many links from one type of site will be classed as spam. When you link building you want to produce links from all types of sites like, forums, directories, social bookmarking sites, ad sites, ect
I hoped you found this post useful and feel free to leave a comment but make sure its seo friendly and has NO links in the comment body itself.
