If you own a blog it is a good idea to add social bookmarking buttons at the bottom of your posts to make it easier for people to rate your post. Wordpress users can just download a plug-in which will automatically add selected buttons to all your posts.
General Directories
There are literally hundreds of thousands of web directories on the internet and allot of them will do nothing for your site or its rankings. Submitting to directories is good to increase inbound links but finding good ones can be hard. Directory submissions are mainly used for link building and seo purposes so don’t expect much traffic from them. Try to find a directory that is search engine friendly and human edited to get the most out of your submission.
