Playing .mts file formats
I recently got myself a HD digital camcorder for when I go away on holiday in July. I started playing around with it and filled up the 80gb hard drive with loads of videos of me filming my cats and going out with pals.
I started doing some research and there’s a good bit of software which allows you to play back your mts files along with many other formats and edit them with cool effects ect. The software is called avs video editor 4 and you can download it for free from avs4you.com.
The mts file format is a High-definition MPEG Transport Stream video format, commonly called “AVCHD;” used by Sony, Panasonic, and other HD camcorders; based on the MPEG-2 transport stream and supports 720p and 1080i HD video formats.
