The Top Free iPhone Apps
Since I bought myself an Iphone about two weeks ago, I have been download app after app and because there are so many apps to choose from I have gone for all the free ones.
The iphone can be a very intelligent phone and It has come in handy so many times over the last two weeks. One of the best apps that comes already installed is the gprs which pinpoints your position down to a few feet and has come in handy when visiting new areas and getting directions.
If your like me and are online all day everyday either doing work or chatting with friends then you may find an app called “wi-fi finder” which basically does what it says but it also give people the option of adding new hotspots for example if someone has an unprotected home network then you can mark that as a free hot spot.
Another great app that I have to mention is twitter, as it’s a great way to share information and stay up to date with people. The iphone app makes posting images to twitter a lot easier and quicker which is a great benefit to the people who like taking weird pictures ect.
One of the other free apps is called “tube status” again this does what name implies, it gives you an update status report of all your underground lines making travelling around London a lot easier and allows you to miss out the closures or delays that would of hit you.
There’s other apps like facebook and instant messenger you pick up and download in seconds, these apps are free and are one of the most popular downloads on itunes.
If you like keeping up to date with local and world news then apps like sky news will come in handy. The sky news app has links to videos and news reports as well as displaying the latest news when you login.
