How To Improve A Websites Reputation In Google

Not many people know it but google builds a reputation about every website and uses that when assigning positions to keyterms in there search engine. A good reputation is something we all should have and it can help us greatly when we are promoting our terms.

A good reputation is based on many different factors and one of the most important ones is the quality of inbound links to your website. Good quality inbound links are the start and base of your reputation and rely heavily on relevance. Imagine you were google and you wanted to trust a website what would you look for, you would look for the quality of sites linking to it, good quality links are ones from sites that relate to yours and are in your niche, not only that but a good quality link must be one from a website with a good pagerank, I consider any website with a pagerank 2 or above a good website to get a link from.

The links you build to improve your websites reputation should also come from pages that are optimized for those terms you are promoting, these links are considered the highest level of link you can build and will dramatically improve your reputation with google. The more quality links you build the higher your pagerank will go which again is another factor you need to consider to help improve your reputation. Good quality links from high pageranked websites will increase your own pagerank in no time.

As long as you keep everything you do google friendly and don’t try any craphat techniques then everything should be fine and your website will naturally earn itself a reputation.
