Our Links In Action
To be honest I have only been in the search engine optimization field and I know the market is huge with a lot of competitors which can take awhile to rank number one even if your building the best links like we are like we do.
To show how effective our links are on a normal site i.e a retail site that sells a specific products, I have created a project called buy-digital-scales.co.uk which at this current time isnt indexed as I have only just finished it. I have taken measures to insure the site is indexed by google within the next 24 hours and our link building team is slowly building natural links on relevant sites using our relevant link building service.
The keywords which we plan to rank very high for are:
Digital Scales
Pocket Scales
Cheap Digital Scales
These are the most popular terms for our website and we plan to rank very highly for those terms.
This is the first website where we will be offering an actual product so we have take into account shipping costs which we’re not used to yet! but we are confident we can do well with this site.
We will be updating this post on a daily basis to inform you of changes and to let you know how effective our link building service is.
Update One:
The site is now indexed 24 hours after it has been completed, I submitted it to a couple of social bookmarking sites to get the googlebot to come across it, I also created a xml sitemap and submitted that to googles webmaster tools.
We have also created a handful of relevant links using our service and we are just waiting for google to pick them up and give us our first rank position for our terms.
The actual site is 3 days old at this point and that includes the time since it was registered with a registrar i.e godaddy. This is also a good example to see if google gives weight to website age, before I go on I must say that everything we do is done manually and natural so the results we see will be accurate. We have stopped link building at the moment just until google picks up our current links and to produce the first few links slowly to make it search engine friendly. With a new site you dont want to link build to quickly as you could be penalised.
Update Two:
5 more days have passed and we have started to build a good amount of links on relevant sites, while we are not ranking for our main terms yet we are ranking for random, less popular terms. We have been link building evenly throughout our site producing links for different pages as well as our homepage. We will continue to monitor our search engine positions but as it is early days we don’t expect high positions for another week or so. Google has already assigned many of our pages with a pagerank 1 which is very good and very quick considering the site has just been registered and indexed. None of the links we have produced yet are appearing in the search results so it looks like they haven’t been indexed yet as they are also not appearing in webmaster tools.
